Correct Usage of the Fuser
Step 1:
Before powering on the fuser, ensure that the power cable, monitor DP cable, main unit DP cable, and secondary unit HDMI cable are properly connected (the HDMI cable can also be connected slightly later if necessary).
Step 2:
Press the power button. Once the red indicator light turns blue and remains steady, it indicates that the device is functioning normally. After waiting for a few seconds, the monitor should display an image. Additionally, check the small screen to see if it displays monitor information and whether information from both input ports is shown.
Step 3:
Select the desired refresh rate on both the main unit and the secondary unit. Theoretically, selecting the highest option from the list is recommended.
Step 4:
Rotate the knob to switch to the next option, and press the knob to confirm. There are four parameters available for adjustment. When the white cursor is active, the parameters can be configured. After pressing the knob to confirm, the cursor will return to red.
Fuser Error Notifications
-
No light after pressing the power button: Possible causes include hardware issues with the board or problems with the power adapter.
-

-
Blue light blinking after the red indicator turns blue: Indicates a hardware issue.
- Green light blinking after the red indicator turns green: Indicates the device is not activated or there is an occasional anomaly
Official Upgrade Tutorial for the 4K Fuser DICHEN
Step 1:
Enter Upgrade Mode
To put the fuser into upgrade mode, ensure the fuser is connected to a power source and the USB-C port. While pressing the power button on the back, simultaneously press the button located under "D60" on the front panel. The indicator light at the lower-left corner of the fuser should remain red, indicating the device is in upgrade mode.
Step 2:
Prepare the Required Upgrade Package
Once the fuser is in upgrade mode, prepare the necessary software package for the upgrade. The package must be obtained through official channels to ensure its security and compatibility.
Step 3:
Transfer the Software Package
Connect the prepared software package to the fuser via the USB port. The fuser will automatically detect and begin reading the upgrade data from the package.
Step 4:
Do Not Interrupt the Upgrade Process
During the upgrade, do not disconnect the power supply or remove any connected devices. Doing so may result in upgrade failure or cause the fuser to malfunction
Open the upgrade software (FWUPG_V1.2)
Follow the Steps Below to Complete the Firmware Upgrade
- Select the port COM3 (based on the display on your computer).
- For the firmware file extension, choose "BIN".
- Click the "." button in the upper-right corner to locate the firmware file path.
- Select "Open".
- Next, click "Send". At this point, the indicator light on the fuser will turn green. Wait until the software displays a "Send Complete" message in the bottom-left corner before turning off the fuser.
After completing these steps, congratulations! Your fuser has been successfully upgraded!
